ShenQi Space · product case study
How a complex methodology became a product for everyday decisions.
ShenQi Space brings personalized tools, education, consultations and subscription together. As co-founder, Product Engineer and Software Architect, I am responsible for the customer journey, architecture, commerce and day-to-day operation of the platform.

The product challenge
People arrive with a specific question and expect a clear next step.
The first version represented the depth of the domain well. User feedback showed that the product needed a more direct entry point: what today means, when to act and how to use the result. We rebuilt the journey around a clear first answer while keeping deeper methodology available for those who want it.
What works today
One product with several clear entry points.
A person can start with guidance for today, choose a moment for an action or get a personal period. If they need more depth, the next option is already clear.
Turning knowledge into a product
I turned the methodology into calculations, interfaces and practical flows.
The domain expertise remains the foundation. My job was to turn it into a product a person can understand, purchase and use without requiring the expert at every step.
Rules, models and teaching practice
Structured data and repeatable logic
Practical guidance for a day, period or decision
Choose a moment, learn or work with an expert
Product model
Education, consultations, digital products and subscription work together.
A customer can start with a self-serve tool, then choose education or personal work. After payment, access opens in the same product they return to for the result.
Courses and materials with access granted after purchase
Personal work with a domain expert
Personal calendars and tailored analyses
Recurring access to personalized tools
The system beneath the product
A full commercial platform sits behind the customer experience.
The backend contains more than twenty domain modules. They connect payments, access, personalization, content and analytics without turning every change into a rebuild of the whole product.
Orders, payments, subscriptions and access grants work together as one process.
Calculations and guidance use customer data with privacy built into the experience.
Public pages, content, SEO and attribution connect directly to the product.
Queues, monitoring, health checks and releases are part of the platform itself.

Team and ownership
Nadezhda owns the methodology; I own the way it becomes a product.
Nadezhda Kalinina leads the domain foundation and teaching approach. I am responsible for turning that knowledge into a clear product people can purchase, use and return to.
Domain methodology, consulting, education and more than 15 years of practice.
Positioning, product flows, UX, architecture, backend, frontend, infrastructure, commerce, analytics and operations.
How the work changed my approach
ShenQi took me through the full product cycle, from idea to daily operations.
Technical completeness cannot replace a clear entry point. The first screen should help someone take the next step.
Positioning, content, search, funnels and analytics shape the product as much as feature delivery.
Architecture makes change possible; real customers show which changes are actually worth making.

The next layer
I built a separate AI Operations system for ShenQi’s day-to-day work.
It connects company knowledge, product analytics and current work, then delivers recurring briefs directly into the team’s working channels. I explain the system in a separate case study.
Turning an expert service or complex process into a digital product?
We can start by mapping the customer journey, commercial model and architecture of the future system.
